The DS-CAMPUS program is made up of bright, motivated Ambassadors that champion our mission on college campuses across the country and world and provide critical support to Dimensions Sciences through developing and contributing to robust fundraising campaigns. Ambassadors are passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the sciences and use a variety of talents to do so. By participating in the program, Ambassadors gain invaluable professional development and leadership skills as well as access to a worldwide network of diverse and dynamic scientists.
Applications are open for Fall 2021 Semester!
As an Ambassador, you will provide critical support to Dimensions Sciences by developing and contributing to fundraising campaigns that support underrepresented early-career scientists.
You will organize virtual fundraisers to financially support our scholarships, awards, and mentoring programs; develop fundraising materials including social media toolkits and digital media (e.g.videos); and research and solicit donors. In exchange, you’ll gain professional and leadership development, personalized mentoring, and access to a worldwide network of diverse and dynamic scientists – ranging from those who are just starting out to the already well-established.
Ambassadors commit to the program on a semester-by-semester basis. During their semester of participating, they commit to attend hour-long, monthly group meetings as well as well as 30–60-minute weekly team meetings. Upon completion of a successful semester, Ambassadors may reup for a second semester.
For more information, including a detailed Ambassador program and role description, please review the Fall 2021 DS-CAMPUS Ambassadors Application.
